it looks really good actually... Has anyone photoshoped this with a stock SE lip? My front bumper is trashed from the previous owner and I would like to get it repainted one day, but this might be something worth doing

Small update:

A good friend of mine recently had an accident with his IX. Let's just say women drivers aren't the best here. To get him back on his feet sooner I shipped him my Deck lip & front bumper.
Expect some pix this week

The bastards will be rockin my mod before me

He will be supplying me with another IX bumper and new Deck lip

That is going to be incredibly hard to feather smooth.

The bumper was shipped and received on Sunday. Panel shop has had it all Monday. It's now Tuesday here in AU, apparently it's getting smoothed as we speak

Love it! I like the IX bumper, but i HATE those stupid openings. i think it looks nothing like an VIII bumper, even if chopped, do to the IX having a squared IC opening, whereas the VIII has rounded lower corners for that same opening. its beautiful. and +1 for originality

Not a fan of removing the holes, but as long as it is done right like it appears you are doing then I can only give a thumbs up for not half-assing it.

pretty sweet looking to me! it's like going from the fq400 front bumper (with holes) on the evo x to the standard bumper (without holes)

I just had to Google that, and wow the FQ400 Evo X definitely needs this mod
