INTERCOOLER HOLE DELETE mod for Evo IX bumper

that looks clean, i like it, but those holes are there for a purpose and functional, there suppose to help cool the ic pipes/air at the connection points to the intercooler on either side, hence why they are lined up at the connection points of the ic piping to the intercooler

That's because the VIII front end has a wider area in the front for more air flow, due to the angle of the opening whereas the XI is straighter. Comparison pics:

That's because the VIII intercooler is FULLY exposed! SMH...Look at the comparison photos above...The engineers put them there for a reason.

i also think it has potential to look great.
The holes have no function, the comments are ridiculous... "cooling the IC pipe connector"
I'll buy the holes allowing access to the bolts from the outside wrinkle but that can be dealt with.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to melt the urethane bumper plastic together unless you had the same exact 2 materials, and even then the solvent is really nasty stuff.
I was actually considering buying a cheap OE replica in fiberglass that I could work with to do just this.
