Wideband 02 Installed

Got my Wideband 02 unit installed on the Evo tonight. I placed the readout in place of the clock. What do you guys think?

looks great! the only problem i had previously of putting the turbo timer in the position of the stock clock was that everyone who got in my repeatedly told me my clock is off...

my understanding of Wide Bands is that they are extremely susceptable to water vapor and therefore should not be left in a car that isn't going to be running/tunning... Sensor supposedly crack when after morning starts??

That's definately the way to stay ahead of most others though... now just tune away! Clean install!

Great idea
I run a techedge .. and I ran it with a another WBO2 once .. the readings were off by about 0.3 ( techedge running richer )

Again .. note techedge sensor was in the downpipe while the motec was at the tip

Only thing lacking .. response is ALOT slower on the techedge

The Techedge cost me around $350 for everything. I havent heard anything about leaving the sensor in might crack the sensor. The 02 sensor I got is used in cars everyday so I dont think that will be an issue.

BTW does anyone know what wire I need to run off the ECU to get the RPM signal?

RPM is pinout 58 (Green/White wire). Go to this site:

http://home.fuse.net/wallace/e-manage_Install.html

It is for the emanage install, but it will help you out.
