Car problem after IC & intake install

i just installed an ets 3.5" intercooler and switched from a hks intake to an ets intake. Now, when the car idles my AEM Wideband is reading all the way from below 10's to above 17's. Afrs are all over the place. And then when i drive car i dnt even have to get 50% on the throttle and afrs are low 10's. There must be a leak somewhere or a problem somewhere. The ETS ic and intake are brand new.

Please i would appreciate yals .02 cents.

I just put the ets Ic on too and I started my car and was like WTF!? Lol as soon as I opened the hood I was like DOH.

anyway check that and do a mean boost leak test I found the smallest leaks everywhere. do yourself a favor and get a spray bottle with some soapy water.
That way you don't have to depend on your hearing, you will literally see the leak

Best of luck

Buddy

Its usually the intake that causes it to swing around wildly like that in my limited experience, especially if you have cams. Put the other intake on it for awhile or get the car tuned up the maf scaling and smoothing probably needs a touch up.

i dont think just an intake alone will cause your afrs to go all over the place like that... with my inatke at idel im at 14.something on my afrs

the intake will definitely play a role

the orientation of the maf pipe calls for different smoothing and scaling numbers

Some intakes are better than others but there are other factors in here too.

I had my buschur intake and it works fine for a long time until i put my cams in. The cams just roughed up the idle enough to really make it swing around wildly. I put the stocker back on and it stopped.

If i get speed density on this car with the ECU patches out there I'll put the intake back on.
