WeekEnd Warrior

here are some pics from my weekends project.

hardware came from STM, used chemical paint remover, pressure washed it a local car wash, wet sanded the **** out of it with 180 girt. and then primed, painted and finally a clear coat.

this is the end result.

Now get a COP kit w/ carbon fiber plating for a nice touch.

Looks good but I don't think u mean P180, do you? 180 grit is harsh as hell, I woulda started with a P360 and worked down to a 1000 and 1500 grit for a smooth finish. Also what paint and clear did you use? Standard paint probably won't take the heat.

chemical paint remover, then i sanded with 180. used high temp primer, paint and clear. came out smooth and clean, no need to go crazy with sanding to 1000 sinces its already smooth to begin with.
