Just wanted to share this, my car has a red/black/CF theme as well. Will be repainting my faded calipers black with red Brembo stickers I purchased earlier this year.

I scraped this idea until I could finish the flames and just went all black for now, figured others may do it as well as it looks awesome in person.

 

looks nice I kinda like how my light gray rims match my light gray IC though, maybe if I ever get nicer rims I'll mess with the IC.

oh man, why did you have to make the black rims comment, you're so right but I'm so not ready to spend that kind of money on my car. I'm getting married in less than a year.

Looking really good & that red looks rich. Waiting on pics of it complete & in the sun. You can plastidip the rims black.

 

What made you choose the X rally red?

 

The car was 2003 Rally Red already, and I didn't want to worry about the engine bay and door frames mismatching so I wanted something close. I chose Pearl Rally Red, it's a 2009 Mitsubishi color. Sometimes the red looks orange (in the shop / neon lights), outside it looks like a pearl red and at low light it looks almost burgandy. The black metallic is a BMW color and he made it so sparkly it actually looks dark gray which turned out great I think. I'll have to take some better pictures, he took this one with the hood popped open. It's getting dark now so pictures wouldn't really do it a justice. I really can't wait for my new tails now, the stock tails just look outta place IMO.

 

That paint came out amazing. I personally would never put black wheels on my car with all the red & black already as I've seen it done and it looks tacky but I think this car would pull it off nicely.

 

What rims should I look at, anyone have recommendations?
