My new Evo 8 MR + induction to this community
Hi All,
It's finally great to be a part of the swarm of Evo enthusiasts. I had been looking around for months for the right Evo 8 MR and I'm glad to say that I finally found one!
I had the full pre-purchase inspection done and the car was deemed to be in great mechanical standing. However, as with any normal second hand car purchase, there's still some work that needs to be done.
The car's clocked up about ~50k and is due for a timing belt change. I'm thinking of going for a HKS timing belt. It also has a few scratches on the front carbon lip and unfortunately it's been cracked on the left hand side. Any recommendations on getting the scratches fixed? I'm picking up a clear coat from my local store to get it covered. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the side mirrors don't fold in; it just makes a whining noise as it tries to open/close.
Also, where do Aussie peeps here get there gear from?
All in all the car is great. It still has the new car smell, excellent interior condition and drives well.
Great to be a part of your community. Attached are some pics of the car
