I have painted the letters on my NT01 and they turned out great.
I search a lot on the forums and found the secret paint you have to use if you want it to last. It is called Faskolor. you can find it at some Hobby shops or online. one small bottle is plenty.
it is kind of like rubber cement in chemistry where it becomes part of the rubber and doesn't chip off.
