It's a shame the Lancers get a nice badge, and we have to pay 85 for one simliar. IMO, this mod is almost necessary, it looks so much nicer!

Anyone have pics of a UK EVO from the rear? It seems like their "lancer" badge is all the way at the lower left hand corner of the trunk, whereas our US cars have them a little further up and in.

my god it took me 2 hours to debadge the stupid little thing, but i got it off. Most of the time was cuz of that stupid adhesive tape. i basically destroyed my thumbnail trying to get that crap off. After i finished, i saw a bunch of specs of adhesive tape left, and i was disapointed, but after i applied some wax it totally came off and now, i have a clean looking rear =P

i bought a evolution 7 badge from HK, about 3 months ago and havent put on on yet, i want the evo 8 badge. Does anyplace sell just the 8 (VII)part??? dont wannt pay another 80 just to use the 8, peace

Got my 9 from the dealer 2 hours later I de-badged it and left only the Mitsu diamond Star. Nice look.

FYI: I was bored and figured out you could take LANCER off the trunk and put scramble some letters and put RACE on. Of course I would never do it... I just thought it was interesting.

I debadged my IX last weekend and I was surprised that it only took me 5 minutes. It would have been shorter had I not broken the dental floss several times. The adhesive came out so easy too. I think it's a lot easier on newer vehicles (while the adhesive hasn't settled in yet) because a friend of mine said someone took his out on an '03 just a few months back and it took forever.
