De-badging

Debadged my silver evo last night, nothing on the back now, no mitsubishi symbol, or the "lancer evolution" badge. I think it looks great. Will post a pic when I can find a digital camera. Adhesive came off very willingly.

De-badging

You just peel it off. Take a little cooking oil and rub lightly over the residue (won't harm paint)and wash off.

When I de-badged my car I let it sit outside in the sun on a hot day and then after an hour or so went out with some dental floss and it came off real easy with that. Then just gentle wiped away any residual adhesive.

Just de-badged

I just removed my Lancer Evolution badges today in prep for the new EVOLUTION VIII badge. Funny thing, I really like it badge-free, and am considering not installing my new badge and just selling it. The look without badge is very clean and uncluttered.

i like the debadged look also... i took off all my badges when i got my lancer, not to mention i was one of the first ones to get the us lancer when it came to my area cause i worked at mitsu at the time and when i debadged, i had a fun time explaining what kinda of car it was to people =D

but yah debadged look is nice and clean.. IMO =]

If you do actually keep the debadged look, and want to sell the VII badge, I would be willing to buy it.

I gotta tell you, N10S, that I had it de-badged for a long time waiting for that Evo VIII badge. Once that Evo VIII badge is on there, though, it's a whole new beast. Trust me when I tell you it looks absolutely perfect on there. I have pics of my car de-badged and with the Evo VIII badge on the registry and on my profile if you want to see.

Don't rebadge it......because of the position of the lock on the car, the lancer trunk looks the best when it's debadged....theres no lock to break up the smooth flow across the back of the car and no emblems for people to steal off.

Keep it debadged and keep people saying "what is that car"
