Dual latch front bumper quick-release and tow hook

"Non-performance" mods are somewhat rare on my car, so figured I'd share these two. Both are from Move Over Motorsports. First up was the dual latch front bumper quick release:

Then the front tow hook:

The question never came up really. I was offered a dual latch kit so I took it

Yeah that thing looks goo! Way better than 1 bolt holding on each side of the bumper to fender, ha!

Interesting, (2) latches on each side is overkill...

No, it's not an "ebay part". I asked the rep what it was made from just for you though:

It's made from 3/8" 6061 T6 Aluminum. It's plate, not pressed so it does not rip. Same thing is used in structural sections in bridges, airplanes, space shuttle etc
We use A2 (304) stainless steel hardware and everything has been track tested and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

I've been thinking about getting a latch kit, seems like it can really come in handy.

I wish you wouldn't put a tow hook like that on an Evo though

I find myself removing the bumper more often now for random maintenance because of how quick it is now

You can contact them on their facebook page. I don't think I'm allowed to link as they aren't vendors, they're fairly easy to find after a brief search though.

Haha yea not to mention how annoying the clips can be.

So the latches are the only things holding the bumper in place? No other screws, clips, etc?

Yep, the latches are the only things securing the front bumper. I also have the two clips (sort of like these) in each wheel arch that hold the fender liner against the front bumper.

I had the ToxicFab on my blue car and it was one latch on either side and it was very secure.
