Dipp Halo and Fogs

Ok guys, I finally got some pics of the Halo and Foglight project I did. They are done pics, I forgot to take any while doing it, in case anyone asks, lol. And this past weekend my buddy was able to dip the whole car for me while I was out of town. I think it came out pretty d*#n sweet myself. Just sharing with you and want some opinions.

Ok, so now I'm having a problem posting the pics. They are jpg files and the other three of them are over 2 megs each. I keep getting upload error. Anyone know how to correct this so I can post the pics?

Thanks. A lot of work went into those halos and putting in the fog lights. My car didn't come with them factory so I installed an aftermarket kit into them. Wired them up to two factory fog light switches. Now if I can just figure out how to get the rest of the pictures to upload, you guys can see some more shots of it. Lol

Ok, so I am still having whatever issue and cant load the photos to show on the thread. I even put them on photobucket and still cant get the links to load through the attachment option when posting. So here are the links for the pics I have. Feel free to check them out and let me know what you guys think. Or let me know if these links don't work either. LOL

Thanks guys. To each their own I guess right? Lol. I just like the way those halos look and the fog lights helped my field of vision tremendously with late night driving where I live. Not a lot of street lights but a lot of blind corners and animals. 8k glass housing fog kit, fit surprisingly well into the stock location once you drill out a big a*# hole. Mount some brackets and run some wires to some switches and there is light. Not a bad experience really.

The Halo kit was about 250 on ebay. The foglight kit around 140. I'll try to find them again and post a link for ya. The only catch with the Halo kit was, that they are made for Evo 8 and 9 models with Factory HID Lights! I can't stress that enough. Because apparently the low beam factory HID opening is smaller than a factory low beam NON HID opening. This posed a huge problem, obviously lol. So after I emailed them some pics and talked with them about the issue for a bit, gave them some measurements of what I needed, they sent the right size ring and all was well. So if you have factory HID, their kit fits no problem right out of the box. If you don't, you will have to contact them and tell them, but they sent the correct rings free of charge.

The dipped car looks amazing. I have always been tempted to do this since I heard it was possible. I did hear a few people say over time the chemicals in the spray on dip may damage the paint underneath but it looks great and cheap to do and re apply. I did my wheels and love them. After a year and a half there is one small nick that i will just spray over again. If I may ask, how much was the total dipping process for you?

60 bucks a gallon times 4 gallons for the whole car. 250 labor from my buddy. Well worth every penny.

Here is the link for the halo kit. Remember, if you have factory OEM HID headlights the kit is supposed to fit no problem. If you don't (like I did) you will have to call Oracle or deal with the supplier from eBay and get them to send you a different ring for the low beam. A little bit of leg work, but it only took a few days. Worth it though.

I have the fogs, but I'm just a little scared to somehow **** up the head lights. I've never opened them before.
