possible groupbuy on AAR?

You guys have seen their great carbon fiber work on the Sparco Evo, i think if there is enough interest on this board, we can get a groupbuy going for their Carbon fiber hood and trunk . I talked to Kathy from AAR and told her about this active forum so she might be checking this place out to see how many people are interested. Please post if you are interested .

Yeah...they do make great stuff out of carbon fiber, but i rather have a 5.8lbs trunk and 10lbs. hood on my Evo. Come on fellas...they are willing to do a groupbuy of 10. Possibly $1100 trunk and $1300 for the hood. Who is interested?

degman: here is a link to their site http://www.dangurney.com/merch/aftermarket.html

o00o: Yeah i know its a lot to cough up, but it is of the highest quality that can't be compared to the rest of them out there. Their technique they use to create the pieces is justifable enough for their retail price. Trust me, i know this first hand.

Count me in on a GB for the hood for sure. If the whole package comes under $3,000, I will probably spring for the trunk, too.

For all you CF hos out there - this is the BEST CF you will ever see. Forget JDM this, APC that... This is top-quality REAL race-car carbon fiber. Since I have seen this stuff, no other CF hood (or trunk) will ever be on my car.

P.S. If we can get the CF instrument surround, I'll go for that, too.

Have you seen the Sparco Evo?? I admit I would be buying the hood as much for looks as for weight savings. It is just incredibly well-made and soooooo perfect esp. on a blue Evo.
