no need to get all bent out of shape about what people say on the internet is all I am saying. Let them have their opinion. who cares? Like you said, if you like it, more power to you. You post a picture on a car forum, everyone and their momma is going to comment.

Everyone has their opinion its just stupid to used the phrase like "why do this to a race car" Just because is awd doesnt mean people arent gonna build their cars as show car instead of race cars.
Im not nearly as low as this Evo, but IMO the car looks good and as long as he isnt damaging his car as hes driving, there shouldnt be issues.
Thanks man, I agree with your points here. Especially the reference to being cookie cutter cars. Where every evo needs to be on Volks or Enkei's. Where is the uniqueness factor when everything looks the same? I see an evo with RPF1's and im like hey thats clean, but its EVERYWHERE. I like being different, whether its for the better or worse. I'd rather start something then follow.

But I'm not taking anything to heart thats being said about me/my car/evos in general in this thread. just agreeing or disagreeing with what everyones opinions are, because at the end of the day, they are just opinions

If you think that having your A-Arms pointing at the sky doesn't ruin anything, you have a lot of reading to do.

I don't advocate for "stance yo" but I think there's merit to putting more value on Center of Gravity than control arm geometry.

Guess its news to me that running 1/2 a degree of camber means my A-arms are pointing at the sky... I know far more track ridden evos that have more camber than that. The rears are zero'd out and the fronts are .5

So please let me know what reading needs to be done, unless of course you are refering to some of those insanely cambered cars like this // ----- \\

This guy obviously never has anything positive to say. Sir, your line of logic is not so good as I think you need to do some reading about suspension if you think this is the case!
The real only negatives to going lower is that your shock life will be shortened. There are some not so smart people out there that dont get alignments after lowering their cars and that their problem. For someone that barely running any negative camber he doesnt have much to worry about.
Nobody knows if Pssst is dding this car or using it as a weekend cruiser, but either way its his and its working for what hes using it for. Id much rather see this (thats done right) than a car that has a 3" wheel gap because someone decided to throw some wheels on and never thought about what suspension mods he would need to go along with it!

I will never understand the logic behind "stanced" vehicles. ESPECIALLY on an Evo. Leave that for the Miatas, VW's, 240's, Hondas, etc... To each his own though. As long as you enjoy it and the way it looks that is all that matters.

The logic behind stanced vehicles is all about the looks. Lowered cars look way, way better than a car with wheel gap, plain and simple. Its just the look thats popular right now. If you go to car shows this is mostly what you see now.

People have to understand just because a car is this low does not mean it loses its function! A car with extreme negative camber could possible run into numerous issues, but this car has a proper alignment and the camber is done correctly.

To each their own but I dont think there would be a 290 page thread called - Official Stanced Evo Thread if the there werent people who actually like this look!

To many different rims lol. Iv never really understood the whole lets buy 10'' wide rims and put tires that are meant for 8" wide on them. So your spending that extra money on rims for what reason. This isn't to bash, you just posted to get people opinions and i just never knew why people did that for.

Other than that your car is nice and what motor and turbo setup do you have when you say you have a big turbo?
