Almost ruined - Form and function?

Well I've always been one to have the form and function... to a point. You decide... Yes the wheels are purple... they looked to good to change the color when I got them, do they fit with the blue... ehhh but whatever, it's different. Bring on the criticism.

Everyone always stretched tires on BBS RS I wanted to put some decent meat on them and run wide RS....

17x10 with Hankook evo V12's 245/40/17

I like BBY but those RS belong on VWs.

Meat on tires, fully built big turbo, not just wheels and coils. But the more I look at it the more I dont see it either

You call 245's meat? Meat doesn't start until 275+ especially on a 10 inch wide wheel.

Having a fully built/big turbo has nothing to do with function. As they are separate from each other. This car is nothing but form. To slammed to be function. But it looks purty, but the purple is not for me.

Not my cup of tea. I know about the car and the build and am aware of some of the nice parts on the car but at the end of the day it is too low for me. And while 245's on 10" wheels isn't the worst thing that has been done, you cannot consider that to be meaty tires...

Don't understand the sticker on windshield thing? Is that like ILLEST or HELLAFLUSH Crap?

Wheels don't fit the car, tires don't fit the wheels, and that monstrosity under the rear bumper I never liked.

Other than that nice car. I couldn't properly drive it around here at that height but slow and steady right

Eh I was going to do 265 but the V12's run a bit wide for their sizes. But totally understood.

I do have a set of 18x9.5 Enkei NT03 with 265's that are the more functional wheel.

Yeah I guess I was just used to seeing 205's on wide RS's so something past 235 was meat on a RS.

Sticker on the windshield is because the car was recently featured on Beastcoast.us

Seems like everything you listed you dont like so idk how you call it a nice car haha but I appreciate the criticism for sure. I too am over the rear diffuser. I want a varis one now.

I love the look! Not sure why everyone complains about it not being "Function" Not everyone that owns an awd auto-crosses or rally races. Most of us build our cars for show (me included) So as long as you can drive the car without bottoming out or rubbing on your fenders I say good job!

Thanks Jay! I did the whole build it to be fast and what not, so I figured I would give it a more form look too, I knew it would hurt butts, but I figured why not be a bit different.

I think the grass perspective makes it look much lower than it is. Although it is quite a bit lower then the majority of evo's around.

Apparently you missed the part about what these cars were built for... For every person who does this to an Evo there's another who'd love to have one to do those things with it.

Which makes it a complete waste of what would otherwise be an ACTUAL nice car.

It's for sure a nice car. Always loved that color and the lip and hood look sweet against it.

It's too low for my area and I'm not a fan of the wheels or diffuser

It is certainly not "ruined" in my mind, not that that matters because most of all it is YOURS

Since when does lowering your car make it not functional. Like I mentioned, if its not bottoming out or the tires arent hitting the fenders, there isnt an issue. Just because a car is fast doesnt mean it shouldnt be lowered. How many people have these awd cars that they dont drive in the winter because theyre too "modified"?! Isnt buying an awd meaning it should be used in the winter and snow? Not all people are gonna buy these cars to track or rally them, so instead to making dumbass comments, just keep your thoughts to yourself or mention its just not your taste
