Finally Blacked out the Lights!

Ok, well i don't post int he show and shine at all. My car is not worthy yet, or at least i feel like that.

Anyway i just did the headlight chrome blackout and i am in love with the outcome. I also did something a little differently.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

P.S the front bumper looks like ****.. that's the next job.

Materials Used:

Tamiya Clear Orange Paint
Plastic Primer
High Heat Enamel Flat Black
sand paper and some other things..

Painted the chrome with a clear orange paint.

Test Fit

AND DONE!

looks really good man, I like the JDM look. I modified my headlights similarly but I used the JDM reflector instead of painting it orange.

Looks good! I don't know why but the chrome stuff looks fine on my Yellow car. All the blackened ones I saw on the Yellow never looked right.

Looks good. The downside of the cover retrofit mention is that on US lights it doesn't sit perfect, the lights have a slightly different shape between the JDM and USDM. This looks good though!

Haven't been on in a while sorry. Works been crazy.. And I just reused the old sealant. They have held up fine, not a single sign of any moisture getting inside. Overall i am happy!

Thanks every one!
