Mint 03 Evolution - Hola! From the Land of Entrapment
Sup all.. just thought I'd share some pics of my ride
I bought the car almost 2 years ago, I went from owning multiple subies to this. Where I live there aren't many Evolution's, there are a few though, and some of the owners are pretty cool, we're pretty unorganized but I try and keep my new found friends close.. that being said there are a few douches but it's the same in all groups.. Anyways.. like I was stating I bought the car from some kid in Colorado, I'm in New Mexico in case no one got that from the Title above.. the car had 198k and was cheap and ran good so picked it up, the exterior was showing it's age but still with wax it looked really nice (Tarmac Black)

As soon as possible I lowered it on Tein springs and got some Varrstoens... yeah they are knockoffs and truly wish I could afford real Volk wheels but they did the job

when I first bought it I had it tuned just to make sure was running a safe tune, from what I can tell has 3"TBE / FP .. made 313 on 91 (dynojet) and was a blast to drive till I wanted more power.. lol and still want more but for now I have added GSC S2 Cams/Beehives/No Tick lifters and a Evo IX turbo.. got retuned and made 351/362 (dynojet) and it's a blast to drive.. I then decided to Paint the car.. I couldn't make up my mind on paint.. I always wanted a WW Evo but there are a few around the state (lol yeah the state thats how dry the evo scene is) so was thinking Midnight Purple Pearl.. like the R34
but I was crusing youtube and I have been wanting a Ruckus and came across a video for DorbyWorks Minty Fresh Ruckus and thought hey thats a cool color.. searched the internet for Mint Colored Evo and saw one sick one from what looks like japan... so decided I'll go that route (later found a few more stateside, most are Teal, but close to the color I choose) so I dropped car off for paint and gave the painter a Tall Can of Arizona Green Tea lol.. that's the color I wanted, he had guys at PPG scan it and got my paint
I also replaced all the worn old drip mouldings and got a few carbon pieces for now.

that's that!.. Atm looking to replace the wheels, thanks to my lovely beautiful wife who rubbed them against a curb lol.. and I recently had a little incident with a boulder and some loose gravel.. but that will be fixed by spring.
My future goals are to get some decent coils and hopefully save up to get the engine built and get a FP black or similar mods.. don't race much cuz I'm a little too old for it.. but I do daily drive a lot and this is my vehicle that I do so in.. currently @ 222k miles
and gets taken to redline occasionally so I think she deserves a little love on the inside now that the outside looks so nice
well in my opinion.. some probably won't like the color but I like it.

I actually asked to have it painted black.. But shop forgot too, now that I repair it I will fix that, and hopefully add some carbon to the ducts.. I did the chop myself though using a wrx bumper that I had thrown around Haha.. Plastic welded it.
Thanks also Zenki-S13

Car looks nice! The wheels in your last photos look good on your car! What are you changing to? Congrats on the mileage...Not many Evos look like yours with that kind of mileage! Keep up the good work!
lolz
NJ9MR - Thanks! I recently bought some RPF1's but didn't pay attention to offset.. guy said +35 and they were +45, too much work to make them fit right so luckily i sold them the next day
