hola

Hi, im new to the boards! woohoo! I was actually wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what year Lancer I should look into, I know _some_ times newer is better, but cutting edge isnt my things right now, so any suggestions, and/or Estimated prices?

Welcome.

If you're looking for Lancer (I assume you're in the states), the only one available is 2002 new model (CT body style)

Otherwise, if you're looking for older Lancer (which is known as Mirage in US). For 5th Gen, that will be from 97-01, or 4th Gen, from 93-96.

If you wanna know more, search for more infor on this board

I'm joining the welcoming committee! Like it or not!

Welcome aboard.

Another thing to keep in mind if you're interested in the US '02 Lancer is that, mechanically speaking, they're all exactly the same car with different trims. I think the two things that set the LS and OZ apart from the ES is the LS has a 6 speaker system and the OZ has "ground effects" and a brushed aluminum dash. Aside from basic features, cost and available factory colors they're all the same. Just a thought. Have fun on the boards.

Wow, talk about digging up a dead post!

I would say to get the money for the Evo. then decide if you want to hold out for the MR.
