Just felt like asking some fellow Evo owners. I'm about to have my evo resprayed from satin black to Laguna Seca Blue. Everything minus engine bay and inside naturally. So like the title says, what did your respray cost?

 

Expect $4,000 or so for a good quality job

If you want to do all the prep work and trailer it to the shop, $1,500

repainting is expensive because of the prep work, not because of the labor of actually spraying a car

 

Yea that's what I figured. I did paint and body for a while and those numbers sound close to what I expected. Luckily im family with a very good body shop in town so I think I can get it all done for 3k tops. I was gonna do all the prep work and save a lot of money but I work a lot and just don't know if I have it in me haha. Not doing the bay will save a good bit too though

 

i wish i didnt have to spend money on paint and could throw it all in my engine lol
