sorry if this is a repost, didnt read the other pages but...why dont u just order Red vinyl. that what we use on our RSX's to make the amber turn signals red. one side is sticky, u just spray cleaner on the tail light, put down the vinyl, squeeze out the bubbles, and then exacto knife the excess. u could definetly do that to the stock lights and cover everything but the backup lights.

I'm actually trying to get this guy to make an overlay for the evo. On newcelica.org, there's a guy named bluebatmobile who makes overlays for many cars now, including the celica, rsx, matrix, STi, and 350Z. He said he just hooked up with a guy who has an evo and will have overlays out soon. He makes some very high quality stuff. I'll try to get some more updated news out of him.

BTW, while you're at it, would you care to do a chop for blacked out headlights too? I haven't seen one yet for a blue Evo and would love to see how it looks.

Wow the MR tails look pretty good IMO. I have the Evo7 tails now but have a pair of UK tails coming in. Maybe I'll have the UK tails blacked out...

BAH is right. MR tails look bad on blue, red still looks best. Of course, this is my opinion. Bobby12 many, I will send him the pics and tell him what evo owners want, and trust me, he will make whatever we need.

Note that in the chop the black is a little metallicy. It should be more of matte black, I dunno how much that would change the looks though.

I dunno.. see I've had the JDM Evo7 tails for awhile now but I'm starting to get kinda tired of them. I swapped my OEM taillights with a guy in the UK to get the JDM OEM taillights (amber strip). I dunno, the all red tails just get really boring after awhile.

I strongly suggest the red lenses, (JDM style). Not because its a 'JDM bandwagon' thing either... Just because the Blue Altezza style looks ricier than a civic with a wing on the trunk, that is taller than the roofline.

These are just my .10 cents worth of opinions.

If anyone chooses to flame me on this:

I've had a 14.0 second trans-am and two mid 12 second Hondas (12.5 and 12.7 respectively), all daily drivers too, With 316 passes on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip over the last 5 years. I feel that I am qualified to offer this suggestion.
