Tail Lights...Which look better? Lots O PICS inside!

Well, I hate the OEM USDM tails on our EVo almost as much as I hate paying $350 for new tails to replace them.....

SO, I have decided to buy an extra set of OEM tails and either paint the innards of the lenses red, or paint the housings blue. What do you guys think?

I personally am leaning twoards the Red tinted lenses... but the blue would probably look quite trick in person....

What do you guys think?

Also, here are two pics of my baby
As it stands now...

How I hope it to be soon

BTW: I made this chop to be a wallpaper(its mine now at 1600x1200)... just let me know if you would like it sized for your needs!

If you do blue, make sure the color is matched to the OEM paint.

I talked to a body shop that told me they would prime, paint and clear using OEM color codes for about $50 total. (i do the prep work Only a 1/2 pint of color would be needed I am told.

Thanks bro. I was trying to get a realistic representation of a Tein Stech drop. Springs were ordered yesterday

I think it's a little low in the back, but seems somewhat beleivable to me.

how do you pull apart the tail light to paint the inside? and also, is it possable to only remove the chrome part of the light to paint? or would you have to tape off the part that doesn't need to be painted?

The blue looks nice with that little bit of metallic shine. Very nice work with the CG chop...impressive The red looks good, but then I would lean toward blue just because it isn't as seen as much.

Btw what kind of camera did you use? the pictures look very nice. Could you tell me the model as well if you don't mind?

I was using a Canon Eos 300 Digital Rebel for all the pics. Plese let me know if any of you guys want full res pics. (3.5mb+ each!)

Hell, I figure I might as well make a set of each tails (since I will have 2 sets assuming I dont break one and see which I like more. Im pretty sure whichever one I choose not to use I can sell for a little more than I paid.

Also, what do you guys think of the Bronze colored OEM wheels? I personally find them sweet, but many people that have seen my 'chops of it think they look hideous... What do you guys think?

Also, Not sure if you guys noticed, but in the pic with the arrows, my IC sprayer is actually squirting away Hard to see, but it's still happenin.

And Karash, You have a PM
