Some questions about restoring my dash and seats
Some questions about restoring my dash and seats
Hello all,
So my IX has a few things that I would like to take care of if possible. First of which, when I purchased the car this last December the previous owner had stuck one of those gps stands to do the dash and when I removed it (I was very very careful about pulling it off slowly) it left residue and other such stuff. I used some interior cleaning supplies I had and tried to get the majority of the goo off and was able to get it off for the most part but it left me with a circle I can still see as well as I believe I may have buffed too hard and took some of the shiny finish off the dash
Does anyone have any recommendations for bringing this back to the way it should be?? I've tried armor all and chemical guys interior clean, I feel it needs "re hydrated" almost because it feels dry ish to the touch.
Also, my leather seats have cracking and such on them, I've used leather cleaner and conditioner on them, but I was curious if there was anything out there to help seal these cracks up a bit? I haven't been able to locate anything as of yet so I figured I'd atleast ask while I'm here!
Thanks for any help,
Evan

Their fairly tight, it's not like the seats are sagging but they just have cracks in them (almost seems from being too tight with heat cracking them). I couldn't find MCguiers Leather Lips, was that a typo? Thanks for the reply
