Painted valve cover

Painted valve cover. Think it came out pretty good. Here's some pics...

​​​​​​​Yea, it looks really good! I need to repaint mine soon .. Its really faded and the paint is flaking off.. Not sure if I should go with a factory red or do a interesting color.

I tried to find the factory red but figured nothing was as good as factory. Unless I could find the exact same color I said I'd just paint it black snice everything else is black.

nope...just regular ceramic primer...I didn't even know there was a special primer for magnesium...let's see how long this **** lasts...

very nice. Yeah iv been thinking about doing mine. You think it will last good with the heat? I don't want to be having to pull it off and paint it all the time

Yeah hopefully it last but tbh i dont mind if it doesn't. I wanted another color but i order paint online thinking it was the one i wanted but it wasnt and i was like heck mind as well i already have the paint so i did.

well mine so far so good...a turbo coolant line ruptured under boost and sent coolant all over and wiped right off...still looks good...

Holding up just fine...I used aircraft paint remover...took a couple rounds of it...i used high heat primer and paint from advanced...think it was duplicolor...not sure...
