"MR" tail lights vs stock vs "evo VII"

Here is a pic of my MR lights vs stock. are these the same as Evo VII or are they different? I thought the lenses on Evo VII's were red where these are clear with red cirlces inside for the lights.?

I got these for $325 delivered. They came from Japan and arrived in about 4-5 days from the end of the ebay auction!!!

Stock actually blends better to the silver than the MR lights.

looking at it, it almost looks like you could take the stock taillights and paint the insides black and you would have pretty much what I have.???? not sure how to take the stock ones apart though.

Those are MR tails. Blacked out inside with amber turn signals.
Evo VIIs have red lenses with clear turn signals.
The stock VIII tails look best on silver.

Why are people so concerned over the color of the tail lights. If you are going to spend money on your car, do something useful to it.

Chode, I think there are a lot of members on board who have purchased the VII tails.

I would bet almost all of them have deemed it 'useful'.

But yes, I think the clear tails only look good on the Apex Silver EVO's.
