Get a nice set of Bronze wheels for your Black Evo

And whatever you do, don't get all season if this is your daily driver - especially in Boston. I think my Blizzaks handle just as well as any All-season, except of course when snow finds its way to the road; then Look out!

Meanmud,

why should I stay away from all season performance tires? we get a lot of snow here in boston, as I'm sure you're aware. I would think I would have to get an all season or winter tire.

I bought a set of 17x8 Mille Miglia Action wheels in silver that look great on my blue Evo and should be stunning on your black one. Sorry, no pics but they should be on Tire Rack's website. I have had many more compliments on them than the stock wheels. I ordered Dunlop Winter Sport M2 tires, 17x235. The car was unstoppable in snow this winter and ran just 1 1/2 seconds slower a lap at Putnam Park race track (i.e., a very small performance penalty). Cost for all, mounted, balanced, lugnuts, etc.-$1,436. Wheels were $199, tires $145.

Thanks Cincy, I like those rims a lot, it's such a tough decision, but most importantly I want to make sure I buy solid wheels and tires for the winter.
