Is there a lip spoiler available like.....

the M3. I want to remove the wing and maybe finish off the trunk with a lip spoiler much like the newer BMW M3. I wonder if anybody makes one?

There are 2 lips available: Varis racing and Do-luck. Both are not that great looking. I love the one on the M3. I wish that some1 will make a lip for the evo8 that looks like the greddy lip for the 350Z. Go search for it on the internet if you dont know what IM talkin about.

REAR lip spoiler

I also want to replace the rear wing with a lip spoiler... it appears the Varis and Do Luck pieces are front lip only...

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

he's referring to the trunk i think.

as far as the rear spoiler/lip similar to that of the m3's, i highly doubt it'd be very functional in any way for the evo.

I also want a trunk spoiler that is very short and extends off the back of the trunklid a few inches... Call it "drag style" if you want, I just hate the factory wing. Maybe if a 1000 riced out Hondas didnt sport that wing I might be into it more.

I kind of like the black widow wing for civics...just a smaller version for the EVO.

But like I said, a little smaller...

Bmw Spoiler

I like the M5 style spoiler. Would look nice in carbon fiber....

Perhaps a M3 or M5 spoiler will fit. www.spoilerdepot.com has them for $150.
M3 45-14/16" wide
M5 47-1/16" wide

this is my same problem with the EVO wing. I took mine off and am looking for something else.
I was considering a lip spoiler from AC schnitzer but after i set it on my car it had too sharp of a bend and was too short. Customizing the wing would have cost me 900$.
I have my eyes set on the AC schnitzer GT style wing now but it is so pricey and im not too sure how it will look.

I have done it. It took me over 6 months of looking, experimenting and wasting over $200 in spoilers that did not fit., You need one that is 49" long. I tried the M3/M5 ones and they are too short and look stupid. They also do not have the right curvature. I ended up getting a honda accord one (it is 49" long - the 2 door one I think), building a frame for it, placing the spoiler in the frame and then heating it up with a propane torch to get it to change shape and hold the new curvature.

Had it on the car for several months and am very happy with the results.
