i just thought i would share with you my recent experience. i have decided to buy a set of CDT HD62Z for my 2.5rs. while doing the research i came accorss a name which was highly recommanded by alot of guys. i decided to AIM him and ask him about the set of speakers and to my suprise, he is not only an autorized dealer for CDT he also has the BEST prices i have ever seen. i talked to him for a few hours and he really helped me alot with my system and even recommanded some amps and subs to me that he doesn't even sell. so, if you are looking for a killer deal on CDT, USAMPS or CADENCE amps, i highly recommand that you AIM djdilliodon and tell him that Snir sent you. i promise you that you willl thank me later for this.

Very nice components. CDT is not well know in the US but they are very popular overseas. I had them in my Jetta. I used to sell CDT in my home business.

thanks badevo. like he said, CDT is a great speaker company that altought not as known as MB QUART, they do have a killer speaker that is way up there. their euro sport series is very like focal utopia and for the money you just can't beat them.

 

WHat are the speaker sizes for the stock EVO?

 

I have the CDT HD series speakers all around in my EVO at the stock locations. I had to cut spacers for all four, simple mounting plates for the rear coaxials and 1/2" deep spacers and mounting brackets for the front midranges in the doors. The midranges were too deep without the spacers. The EVO's stock speakers have a sort of "oval" mounting plate and are an "oversize" 6 1/2" size.
