thanks for posting the pictures. we were talking about the rolled lip a couple weeks back and we thought it might have been a redesign to bring the tip closer to the outside of the bumper. Doesn't look like they did that. Mine is pretty much where yours sits

i read the first page too now and to answer a couple questions
u will not burn the bumper with just the cat back. I had it for 2 months and all it did was put the carbon on the bumper which would wash off. But now with a test pipe and downpipe it soots up really bad but is wipeable. My bumper paint is a little burnt now cuz i was throwin' flames at the track with my combo. i'll get the carbon fiber shield but need to know first if that will burn or not. I'm not really concerned as it doesn't show much on a black car.
For all those ppl still contemplating on the Greddy. Yes it may be loud but it's one of the best sounding exhausts. I've got props from everyone that has heard it. At idle its not bad but it's a beast at WOT and really deep throated in the low to mid range. have no regrets and love the exhaust.
i'm running the 3 inchUR test pipe and cat delete.

I ordered a Perrin cat-delete from VividRacing along with a Perrin dp. Unfortunately, the dp wasn't in stock, so I'm sitting here with only the testpipe waiting for the dp to be drop-shipped directly from Perrin.
I'm sure the sound will be quite a bit different with the downpipe and testpipe installed. I was thinking the GReddy would sound a bit deeper, but I completely dig the tone. I'm running an Apex N1 on my GSX that's in the background of the first couple of pics. It sounds much deeper than the Evo. It could be just the combination of the other crap that's done to it.
