Yes, the tubing is titanium as well as the can and tip.

the exhaust is pretty awesome, just be careful. out here in cali the popo has given me one ticket and a warning for that exhaust.

How could you extend it a little bit? Is there any adapter plate we could stick in between one of the flanges to extend it an inch or so?

A good muffler shop that knows what it's doing should be able to extend the system … but remember it's titanium. I've heard welding onto titanium can be tricky. I'm not sure if it would be easiest to add a bit to the end of the dowpipe or maybe lengthen one end of the cat or testpipe.

A heat shield is an option, too. Or you could go all out and just get a JDM IX rear.
