I guess I missed something in the gauge world. In the center console, what are the lights to the lower right of each gauge? What does the far right one indicate by blinking? Can you buy this full setup? I may have to rethink my nav setup, HA!

Very nice build btw! {thumbup}

Thanks for this but could you confirm the quantities of each nut and bolt you ordered.

2xMD050073 nuts for o2 to turbo studs
3xMD062961 bolts for 02 to turbo
4xMN119783 bolts for turbo to mani
9xMD132933 washers for both

You got rid of the two studs on the turbo to manifold side and replaced it with 4 bolts for ease of install/removal right?

Also it looks like your FP turbo came with two studs for the o2 housing side. You didn't replace those just bought nuts and washers for them right?

Thanks again!

Thanks man! Where did you order the hardware from? Russell from mitsubishi.net?

I just realized you are using a tubular manifold, I'm not sure I can replace the studs with bolts for a ported stocker cause the heads on the bolts are too big... hmmm I'll have to look into that but if you or anyone can shed more light on replacing the studs with nuts on the stock manifold it I'd appreciate it.

Thanks. Im trying to get Petey to tune my car. He is the hardest person to get hold of. I wanted to get the o2 dump but I heard it doesnt make that much difference performance wise so i just went with the ported 02 housing.
My car is running great with TialQR (not the Q) so far. I will find out after the tune for sure.
Is there any evo meets up in NJ? I cant seem to find anything EVO friendly around here in philly.

Thanks. Im trying to get Petey to tune my car. He is the hardest person to get hold of. I wanted to get the o2 dump but I heard it doesnt make that much difference performance wise so i just went with the ported 02 housing.

Good choice with Petey, definitely knows his stuff. I know with his day job and tuning nights & weekends hes pretty ridiculously busy. Maybe trying calling Krazy House Customs directly and setup a tuning session with him. Ohhh, my mistake, in the pics I didn't see the bov recirculating so I thought you were running the Q. I just moved back up to NJ a year ago and there really hasn't been much going on but over the past couple months I've ran into a hand full of local evo guys to me. Now that the weather is getting better I'm gonna try and get together some mini meets. Ill let you know man...

Jiggerman Apr 21, 2011 03:18 AM

Everything looks fantastic. That thing is going to fly.

The next time you pull off your bumper (or if you can access it from the engine bay) you should paint the upper intercooler bracket black to match the exterior of the car. Tiny details, I know. Best of luck with the rest of the build.

Here are the numbers.
PUMP GAS
379 Torque
436 WHP
On a Mustang dyno

Car was tuned at 28PSI. I couldve pushed more on it but its a DD not a race car.
I had it tuned by Petey at KHC.

Couple things about Petey and KHC

1. Awesome shop. super clean and they do wide variety of work.

2. Awesome, very friendly people and nasty cars. I saw Porsche p800, alpha 9 GTR, and a SMS challenger:eek:

3. Petey is very easy to work with. He is very very knowledgeable and pulled many runs to make sure my car is tuned right and took his time with it. He had no problem explaining all the stupid questions I had with the car

Overall, i cant be any happier with Petey and KHC. I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tune {thumbup}{thumbup}{thumbup}

Thanks Petey!

Great numbers !!! Awesome car !!! ;)

Nice dude! Does your exhaust have a resonator in it? It sounds extremely quite compared to the other ETS exhausts I have heard. Also is it a 3" or 3.5"?

Mikey

PeteyTurbo@KHC Apr 25, 2011 06:53 PM

Thanks for the kind words! And the pictures look great! Your car was an absolute breeze to tune, and I can't tell you how much I appriciate that. I loaded up a V7 tune variation from my car and was almost dead on the very first pull. AFR's stay very tight from 24-28psi and I only stopped there because I know you are not trying to set any records. I am confident that is enough HP on our dyno to make a 10 second pass..Like I said, you can always do a racegas tune as your altmap:) Glad you are enjoying it...

Really? it sounds pretty loud to me  But then again i never got to compare it to another ETS owner or even a buschur bullet owner. yes it does have a resonator. Its 3.5inch. whatever the larger diameter one was.

Pulling this up from a small hibernation...

Hope you're enjoying the new setup, seems like you are quite happy with it.
Of all the time I spent on that campus, I never once thought to use the SAE garage for my own use. I would always make due in the parking garage late at night. Your avenue is much more clever.

Glad you got to hook up with Petey, he is a hell of an individual and a great tuner to boot.
Concerning the Philly area activity, just poke your nose in the ne region for the Philly thread if you are looking for something to do. Those crazy cats always have something going on and its a great group of people.
