Whiteline Max-C Camber Plates just released!!!

Whiteline Max-C Camber Plates have just been released by Whiteline USA. These are some of our favorite plates out there for Subaru and we are very glad that they are finially out for EVO. There hasn't exactly been many options in this area and we are happy to see one more great product out there.

The fact that these adjust camber AND caster is a huge plus, and the size of the spherical bearing is simply massive. So these will be quiet and can take quite the beating.

Right now they are only available for use with coilovers....NOT the OEM struts. We hope they release another version for use with regular style springs. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, we will definitely be putting together packages with our custom Dave Mac KW Variant 3's.

Description:
The Max-C performance adjustable strut top range is named for the ability to achieve Max caster and or Max camber. You run at Max caster position for street and then simply slide to Max camber for the track. KCA252M is a Motorsport kit and is compatible only with coil-over or race type springs - it cannot be used with original type springs.
Specifications:
Maximum CAMBER adjustment: -3.0 deg
Maximum CASTER adjustment: +2.0 deg
Applications:
2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII, IX
Here's a link to the included instructions:

Any questions, let me know.

Nice, I was looking for more alternatives other than TEIN and Cusco for camber plates! It says it can't be used on original springs but it can be used on race type springs, what does that mean?

Just got word that there WILL be a version for stock struts + OEM style springs in the coming month.

GTWorx Springs + Whiteline camber plates + Whiteline rear swaybar is gonna be awesome. Add some Whiteline bushings and you've got a really nice set-up.

Looking at the pdf link it seems like camber and caster can not be adjusted independently?
Good looking piece although I would prefer 4 clamping bolts isntead of two as those are usually a weak point.

What is the price going to be?

Correct, camber and caster are not adjustable separately. But you'll notice that with camber maxed out, caster is pretty much maxed out too (it's near the extent of the strut tower).

When you move the plates in, you do get more caster, but you wouldn't be able to have this much caster with the plates maxed for camber.

For now, they can only be used on coilovers. The regular strut version will be out in about a month.

So is the -3 degrees camber in addition to the -2 degrees that can be achieved from the stock eccentric bolt?

First one to offer a set of these for/with the new Bilstein HD struts will probably get my $$$.

^ I'm not sure exactly, but from looking at them I would expect well over -3 degrees.

I'll have a Bilstein HD package for you eventually...the strut version of the camber plate is not out yet though. Only for coilovers right now.

I will be making some with and without our GTWorx springs.

Cool ... I will probably be looking for a setup running the Swift spring ... with an outside chance of going with the Espilier. I've got more digging to do on that one.

I'm curious as to how much caster can be gained from a normal camber plate when set for max camber. Is the .5 degrees the increase?
