I have heard one can remove them? I am awaiting a coilover system and have changed out my stock springs for Eibachs. The car rides like damn pogo stick. Can I remove the bump stops to gain some travel without hurting something? Thanks-

Buy some hotchkis springs....that will solve the problem. They come with their own bumpstops. Good price too.

Depends...is it riding the bumpstops or not? If the pogo stick analogy is being caused by it riding the bump stops LEAVE THEM.Originally Posted by Michael Adair

Did the eibachs not come with a bumpstop trim guide for your car? I had to trim the rear ones in my old car when I installed eibachs.
The instructions from Eibach said to leave them alone. I really do not know. What is their purpose? What function do they perform? I would consider the removal if did not present an issue-
