Try searching on the ohlins.

I have a set and I love them. Have no idea how they compare to the MR bilsteins.

Budget is $2000, any suggestion will help

Thanks
If you think your Evo stock shocks ride like garbage, then you should trade in your evo for a lexus or an infinity.

OK toughguy, try living in a state where the roads are wrecked from all of the freezing and thawing and maybe you'd agree the stock shocks ride like garbage.

For STREET application, I'm happy with my Ohlins PCV. Hard to describe how it compares to stock, but IIRC:
- soaks up bumps better
- but more easily unsettled by road imperfections

OVERALL though, I'd say it's an improvement over stock ride.

I don't recommend it for TRACK use (or at least till I get the settings sorted out...)

You live in FL, when was the last time you even saw a Pot Hole? Anyway try driving your EVO on a testing ground for a Jeep and that is what the roads are like in my area. Broken Concrete, potholes, speedbumps in the middle of the road. If I lived in Florida or better yet Las Vegas where the roads are as smooth as glass, I would not have any complaints. STECH's have helped some but the MR's Bilsteins are still 100x better in the same conditions and ride more like a Lexus. I am looking for Coilovers otherwise I would just go with the Bilsteins.
There are actually alot of pot holes down here in Florida...atleast where I am there are a good number of them.
