wide body and wheels

Hey guys i got a question, ok i'm getting the chargespeed widebody fenders cause my car got hit in the parkin lot... damn those people that cant drive....
Anyways they are 20mm fenders so they are going to make the stock wheel setup look like spares. I was thinking of putting on 17x9 rims with the advans for now, just wondering if 17x9 + advans are going to fit in the stock back and if i need to add 10mm spacers in the front to make it look normal again.. or can i get a different offset wheel? will that change how the wheel looks on the car? Thanks alot guys

let me know how the install is and post some pictures if you can. There arn't many 17x9 wheels though i was thikning about the RPF1s from enkie and i hear that if your running 235 rubber it wont rub the back and i think you need a spacer in the front so it clears the brembos. so with the spacer it SHOULD looks normal.. but not sure..

I got the complete chargespeed kit on. I got it as soon as I got the car. Here are some pics. I currently have on Volks TE 37. They are 18x8.5 with a 30mm offset. I also have the tein s springs. The car sits perfectly and does not rub. The pictures were taken before lowering it and without wheels and you can see the car looks fine even with stock wheels on. Hope this helps.

What are you going to do with that setup, road race, autocross, street, show? I had Tanabe springs and 17x9 +35 offset with 245/45/17 which only rubbed on the front inner plastic lining on the passenger side under very hard cornering road racing. The back has a lot more space (less inverted shocks, caliper clearance) then the front, so a lot of 17x9 will fit depending on the offset.

i'm goin to be running it mostly on the street, maybe a few track days here and there. I dont want to get a seperate set of track wheels since i have my enkeis on snow tires right now and i dont have the $$$ to buy another 2 set of rims. So i thought id just get enkei RPF1s in 17x9 with 245 or 255 set up with the wide fenders and pray it doesnt rub... 245 most likely. But i also want it to look good. I was afraid that the stock wheels on the wide fenders was going to look like a set of spare tires.

Thanks for the pictures!
