feldguy,

I totally agree with you on the alignment. I have 17800 miles on my Advans which are almost on the wear bars. There is slightly more wear on the inside of all 4 tires but not like a slick. I check my tire pressures weekly by setting them to factory specs cold at 6:30am. I don't think I am going to get an alignment when I get my PS2s. I am sure that there are some Evo owners that got a whacked out alignment from the factory, but luckly I wasn't one of them!

I think I was. Just got my RE750's put on and the old Advans were bald on the inside shoulder. Only 14K on them. Anyone get an alignment under warranty by any chance? Heard you could get one done if under 15K miles.

Ok... I had my warehouse physically weigh one of these tires. They found it actually comes in at 23 lbs. Whoever put it in the system dropped the ball. Sorry for the confusion.

Sounds like its time for some head-hunting Neal... purely for the customer's sake...

Thats what I'd be worried about...

But its mostly tirerack that loses a smidge of credibility in my mind. How do we know they aren't lyin about a tires weight to try and sell more. I mean I know their not and human errors happen, just giving an example of the thoughts that come up, ya know...

what is the lightest OEM size tire for the Evo now that we know its not the Sport Contact 2

All the weights can be verified on the tire manufacture websites, just like EVO8LTW found on Conti's site. Tire weight is rarely tied to the price, so I don't think anyone is trying to dupe any customers. Just a mistake that was made.
