I thought so to!! i had my car set to stock camber and toe, after hotchkis and 18x8.5 rims! Nothing worse than a bad camber issue!

I have Tein-S Techs on stock wheels, and my alignment is great! I go to JUST TIRES, and the guy that aligns my car is a rally enthusiest, and always aligns it dead on with stock adjusters.

Try to find someone who is qualified...it CAN be done.

Evos come stock with eccentric bolts to increase the range of camber adjustment to a max of about -1.7 to -1.8 degrees. It does not come stock with camber plates which can give you significantly more range than that depending on the rest of your suspension components.

so if I were to lower it on springs, I could have the camber adjusted back to stock settings without a camber kit?

It would depend on how far off the springs put things. The eccentric bolts (in the front) are designed to only provide a full 1 dgree camber change. They are all in or all out. The Evo's rear suspension has adjustable eccentric bolts that provide graduated camber changes and they can be adjusted in fine increments.

Don't most coilovers kits come with camber adjustablity? If so, you may want to consider skipping buying springs and a camber kit and go straight to a full coilover set.`

Ground control will be uber expensive, but probably have caster adjustment as well. They might end up with more adjustability that you really want. But if they are right for you, go for it. And post pics.

FYI I found these on e-bay for $160.

You got to love that loosely translated japanese, but it seems they are supposed to work with a stock style spring.

Does anybody have a "How to" on the Ground Control camber/caster plates with stock struts? I was told the GC camber plates will work, but...I don't think so.

I have the WORKS camber plates and they've worked quite well for me, and held up perfectly despite my flogging on the car (track days, autocross, quite a few jumps, and driving my car out onto a rather rough rally stage).
