I've seen the Hawk Pad series, but are there others that you guys have used w/o breaking the pocket-book? My pads are pretty much gone......!

I really like the Carbotech XP-8s I've been running. With proper "anti-squeal" preperations the noise or squealing hasn't been a problem. They will ocasionally squeak a bit when they are cold, however. The performance is of the XP-8s is fantastic, though.

If you do order a set of Carbotech pads, be sure the pad area is properly aligned on the backing plate before installing them. Out of four boxes of pads (16 pads total) I have had two mis-aligned pads. I know they replace them if you send them back, but it's a pain when you find the problem right before a track day.

Hawk HPS were a good choice..for some reason, last I checked they had discontinued the rears already (no idea why).

We have had excellent results with both the Endless SSS and the Project Mu NS pads for exactly this type of driving

Order 20 sets and they'll whip em right up for you.

I'm running the DS2500's. I can't imagine a better street pad. Less squeak than OE, less rotor wear... I've yet to fade them (no hard track time though). This includes hauling them down from 150 +.

I just ordered the Hawk HPS front and rear pads. Thanks everyone, and Zeus, how's the beast running?
