open ended lug nuts.
open ended lug nuts.
for the stock wheels.
options?
Ideally I would get a new set of cheap rims would normally be the thing to do, but I am trying to save money here.
I want to use longer wheel studs for my autocross rims, but have not gotten around to it becuase of the closed ended stock lugs.
Can I just cut the damm ends off? Or better yet, are there any aftermarket lug nuts that will work with the stock rims?

I just went through the ordeal of finding some normal 6 sided aftermarket lugs that don't require a key for my autox wheels. Everything I saw was taper type.
I might try a normal auto parts store for some of the OEM type though. These will probably be a zinc plated steel or chrome plate, but cheap. M12x1.5 thread.

It's what i'd do. I've done it on Mackin's nuts for volk wheels. In fact when I screwed the nut in, the stud pushed the top of the bolt off.
