RA-1's Noisy?
I have a set of ra-1's w/ 5000 miles on them and they are pretty worn. I'm just curious how much noise other people are hearing with these tires. Mine sound like a moderately loud high pitch hum at steady speed(60mph) changing to a lower pitch "ummm" sound below 20 mph. They have slightly more inner edge ware, if it matters. The noise does not bother me, I just want to make sure it's not my t-case going south.
BTW, the sound does not get louder with speed, it just changes tone. If anything it dimminishes above 80mph, and is there regardless of gear/rpm. This is what is leading me to believe it's the tires and not something mechanical.

thanks for the replys. To give you some idea of the noise level, with the stock radio, I have to turn the volume up to 26 to drown out the noise.
also, i forgot to mention that braking at low speeds changes the depth of the "ummm" sound as well, and also causes a very slight vibration.
BTW, could a sound like this be an indication of a bad transfer case? (I'm at 17000 miles with no launches FWIW)
