Brake fluid cooling elemente??
#16
i use castrol super dot 4 no problems on track so far maybe i get problems on monaco roads
group n braking
standard brembo caliper
brake pads are pagid rs14 or ferodo ds3000 or carbon metallic 97
brake discs are standard too no alu bells allowed
fluid most guys use castrol SRF or ap racing 600
goodridge hoses
group n may not use extra home made cooling ducts
regards

Michael,
A cooler like an oil cooler will not work on it's own in the brake system as the fluid itself does not circulate (well not very well). With normal systems you just get localised heating of the fluid in the caliper and in the first couple of inches of the brake pipe.
I think what you need is a Brake Fluid Recirculator. I little device that sits in line with the system and circulates the brake fluid with every pump of the pedal and therefore prevents localised boiling of the fluid in the caliper. It also has the added benefit of purging any trapped air.
Costs about £150 and is available from the likes of Demon Tweaks etc.
You should make sure you go down the decent ducting route before doing this as you will probably find it more beneficial.

Michael, cure the problem!
With a set of Movit brakes you dont reach those high temps anyway!!
Cooling brake fluid?????? AAAH!
Group N can use anything that has been homoligated(?). They use AP rotors (a brittish brand) and toss them out after 50 km or so. Keeps the bus alive I guess.
See you all tomorrow at the Ring: I will prove that you can go fast, brake hard and use std. brake fluid! Has Claudius checked in already in the Dorint Hotel?
Today on the dyno: 363 HP (DIN) and 431 NM!! at 1.3 bar boost!!! At 1.4 bar the Ralliart ECU retarded the ignition to much and dropped torque in the mid range, but gave 376 HP!!
