Finally got to drive my car... my brakes are spongy tho.. I'm going to manually bleed them although I'm not sure what I've done wrong.

after you get done, leave the cap off, get in car, push to floor twice, then check fluid level, and top off if needed. (may have put a touch of air in the master cylinder. )

I'll give that a try man!

The car didnt run when I bled the brakes... the pedal felt stiff but it was locked lol.

It really doesnt feel too bad... There isn't much stopping power yet because the brakes don't even have a mile on them

only thing i've found, is that sometimes i'll be bleeding and come up and see the pressure on the bleeder is still up there, but the line going to the reservoir isn't full of fluid, so i pick up the bleeder and drain some down to it.

is there any merit in bleeding with the car on? back when i was mucking and chasing my plugged caliper problem i did it a few times... felt it might give the system a more full flush

Well the brake pedal like "locks" when the car is off.. I'm not sure if you can just put the key in or not.

I did what you said warmpepsi and it helped out a good bit. I still think I'm going to rebleed them tho. I had to put more fluid in.. went out for a 10-15 mile ride and it needed even more fluid. I'll triple check tomorrow for leaks.

well, if the reservoir was down and empty when you refilled it, you just put air back in your lines.

If it's down, but not empty, you're normally ok.

used mine for the first time yesterday. works great. just one point that i might add. you should continue to open and close the bleeder valve on the one you are bleeding. i'm not sure why this works better but it does. i got half way done with the car and as i was closing a valve i noticed a bubble and i opened it again and there were a ton more. i started over with this opening/closing procedure and it seems pretty effective.

Haven't really tested it out yet. I also did ss lines, slotted rotors, and pads so i had to break them in and let it sit for an hour. Went to take it out today but it was raining extremely hard. Hopefully when the rain lets up tomorrow, I'll be able to really try the new combo out.

Well I found my problem.. it was my fault. For some reason or another I put 2 washers on one side of the banjo bolt when installing SS lines on the FR. I fixed this and rebled this wheel manually and everything is PERFECT.
