POWER BLEEDER - What do you use?
Is anyone besides me getting a mushy feeling pedal using this thing? I've used this thing twice so far and both times I got the same low mushy pedal feeling. I was still able to stop at the track w/o a problem, but the pedal is not like I'm used to and isn't very confidence inspiring. I had a much better pedal feel bleeding the good ole fashioned way.

The first pump is mushy, yes. But the brake engagement point is lower compared to when I bleed it the normal way. When the brakes do engage, my car is able to stop just fine.
I've bled and re-bled this thing and no bubbles come out. How would I get air out of the ABS thing?

Okay, I think my low brake pedal was attributed to worn pads. My race pads are close to the service limits.
I put some new street pads on, and the pedal feels good again. Engagement point is back where it should be. Pedal is firm. I didn't rebleed the system either.

all you do is unscrew each bleeder in the right order while the unit is plugged in and pressurized. so simple huh?

I found the power bleeder to be quite useful when pushing back the pistons. The displaced fluid that comes up through the reservior can now be captured with the bottle.
I bled my brakes after replacing my worn pads. The fact that the bottle was pressurized slipped my mind when I disconnected the cap w/ the line pressurized. Holy sh*t what a mess I made! Brake fluid squirted everywhere. Spent a good hour cleaning everything off as best as I could.
Note to self. Make sure bottle is VENTED before disconnecting cap!
