Baer Eradispeed Rotors

How come Tirerack does not sell them? The ONLY place I have seen them for sale is MachV and they are priced at $559 for front and same price for the rear. I would think Tirerack would have them.

Are these not popular? I read a brief description, they are noticeably lighter than stock which is what Im looking for, any drawbacks though?

We did carry Bear products, but for some reason (not shared with the sales staff) we dropped the line. They were expensive when we had them, its a very very good rotor.

Fair enough. Thanks for the honest opinion! I will most likely get them.

The baer eradispeed crossdrilled and slotted is not a good rotor, I don't know about the rest of Baer's line having many problems. I have 4 ruined ones from every day driving. That's why I don't sell them any more. I just know that no matter what you do, the crossdrilled ones will crack around the holes and some will crack all the way thru. In the end just get slotted rotors from any manufacturer and you should be okay.

I had cross-drilled on my Talon for 50,000 miles and they never cracked...

However, the ones Im looking at from MachV are NOT cross-drilled... here is the pic off their site (MachEVO.com)

I have them on my Evo. You do save about 18lbs for the front and rear combined. After track use the fronts did crack to the slot, which seems to be pretty normal for slotted rotors. I have been getting them just plain since, and they cost around $160 from Baer direct.

Evostore,
Could you please get me your best price for just the replacement rotor for the front 2pc. set, ie - no hats, just rotor. Plain, no slots, drilling, etc.

thank you

I had the slotted ones and they cracked after about 10 track days.
