Flat Spot...

hey guys i have 2 tires, the stock yokohamas, that have pleny of tread left but the thing is i created flat spots by being an idiot and doing powerslides. just wonderin if theres anyway if a recap shop or something can shave the tire down. or just let me know if i should make a tireswing with them... thanks

hahahaha, no.. stop screwing up your expensive tires, or youll be buying new ones.. good luck shaving them if you try that..

Most places that shave tires won't shave used tires because the rocks make their blades dull, or if they do they will charge you more. But, if your flat spots are down past the tread it would be useless anyway. I would go buy a new set of Falken Azenis Sport RT-615 in 255/40/17 and call it a day.
