Is it necessary to get swaybars, I dont track my car so im not sure if I would feel the difference. BTW what size are recommended for street, I would think the smaller diameter ones?

Thanks

+1 for hotchkis rear sway. Front swaybars are a PITA to put on, rears are simple. I don't track my evo but definitely felt a nice difference with spirited driving.

I use to have RRE 25mm rear bar on my car, I like how the car rotate into the corner BUT I hate how it kills the mid corner and exiting speed. The car is also very unsettle in fast transection stuff and slolam. I put my stock rear bar on in the middle of this season, change my driving style a little to adjust for the understeering at corner entrance. with the stock bar, my times were faster and more consistant. I suggest you to try both and see what fit you the best.

Yeah! and it'll be adding oversteer. I learned it some hard way when turning my steering too quick that the backend was loose. The car spun but fortunatelly nothing happen. On the street with RRE sway bar, don't use the maximum setting (the farthest holes) but use the middle one if you don't want surprise fishtailing sometimes when you need to sudden move to avoid object or cornering too fast.

Thanks for the heads up.

One thing I really missing driving my bmw is the controlled oversteer. There is way too much understeer with evo in tight corners.

u have to run fast into the corner to tell the different btw stock and aftermarket sway bar, look up KEVO said, he ran thru fast transaction stuff and slolam (when u need to rotate yr car hard to turn) to notice the different, so i suggest to keep in stock, no trouble!

Im getting wheel lift on medium 23mm cusco rear bar settings on quick sharp corner turns on the street, and when its on bumpy roads, the steering feel gets scary imo because of the stifness. Im on stock springs/shocks with cusco v2 from lower arm brace and trunk bar.

My Sentra behaved the same way (lifting a tire) until i put the Swaybar on but i've seen Evolutions pick up a tire AFTER installing a rear bar. Too thick of Diameter? Set too stiff?
