Rear Brakes

Guys-
Just replaced my rear rotors and pads yesterday. Finally got to take it out to break them in today and it seems like the drivers side rear rotor is dragging or something. It sounds like its dragging, but sounds much more pronounced when i make a right turn, loading up that side of the car/suspension. I cant seem to figure out what is making the pads drag or of its something else. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Popped the old rear rotor without too much fuss besides some rust, installed the new rotor and snugged it down with the lugnuts. All of the bolts for the caliper and everything are on pretty tight. The wheel dragging? What would it drag against?

draggin i mean are the breaks hangin up.. is the rotor blueing yet, excessive dust.. the most likely probs are, the pads are not fitting in the caliper right, thus getting stuck, there is a prob with the e-brake, or your caliper is frozen not letting the brakes release, poss. probs with the bearing.. jack it up and start looking around..

jacked it up, took everything apart and reinstalled it...It still sounds like its rubbing on the passenger rear when I make a turn... Anyone have any ideas? The pads are seated correctly, and it doesnt seem to really rub when going straight, just when making right turns and loading the left suspension, it doesnt even take much load in a turn to make it rub.

bumpity...anyone have any idea??? The damn car only makes the sound when im making a right turn, it doesnt even have to be a sharp turn. But as soon as I do, I hear dragging or something sound. The rear brakes work fine when I stop and make no noise when I push on the brake, only when im making a right turn, the left rear brake makes a sound...Cmon, someone's gotta have an idea cuz im seriously beyond stumped.

40 +- 4 ft/lbs on the bolts that hold on the rear caliper. 73 +- 7 ft/lbs on the lug nuts. Those are some pretty important fasteners, and should be torqued to factory specs, just to be safe.

Nubby, I've got all of the bolts/nuts on very tight...I really still cant figure this one out...Brakes are going to be taken apart again tommorow to hopefully figure out what the problem is.

Nubby... what is that.. the backing plate being bent has nothing to do with bolts being tight...

I quoted something to the effect "All bolts are on pretty tight", and when it comes to the braking system "pretty tight" is wrong, torqued to factory specs is right.

A bit of a tangent, but safe is better than sorry.
