Alignment question

Question for all of you that have had your evo aligned. Was your evo lifted by the body of your car or do they drive the car up on a lift and essentially lift it by it wheels? I'd like to know because I plan on modifing my suspension so I will need an alignment, but I really don't want a shop lifting my evo by the body, I'd like to avoid any sort of damage to the underside of my car.

The majority of the best and newer alignment "machines" require that the car be driven onto it.

I doubt you'll find anything else at a good alignment "shop".
