Where to get colored lug nuts for Evo?
Powder coating is a durable finish, sure. The problem is to cure the paint, the painted item must be heated to some temperature for a set amount of time.
Depending on the material and the temperature the strength of the part (a wheel in this case) can be negatively affected. I don't know about anyone else but I wouldn't use any process that reduces strength on a part critical to safety.
I'm not saying the powder coat is no good for stock wheels, but some more in depth research is always a good idea.
