Bump for a good topic....you can search for a year and not come up with any "perfect" spirited street pad. I'm leaning toward the Endless SSS or the Ferodo 2500....can I too get some help.

Does everyone think Project Mu's suck or something? Like I said in my first post, my pad stop my car just as good as the stock ones, leave hardly any dust, and don't make any kind of noise what so ever. To me that is a good pad to have on a street driven car.

I think there are just not many people on the Mu's. It seemed like they were a little late arriving stateside. I don't really know much about them. I've mostly dealt with PFC, Mintex, Pagid, Hawk, and Ferodo and that is in racing not for the street. Mu, Endless and most of the other JDM brands don't get much if any use in my area of work.

It's hard to find pad MOT data on Project Mu pads. All I find is rotor temps up to 400 deg, which seems very low when compared to the endless ssss pads.

400C = 752F. That sounds about right for a street pad.

Perhaps the Ferodos only dust orange when you track them and get them hot?

No, the Ferodos never dust orange. I had mine so hot that my calipers are now brown and I've never had orange brake dust.
