Yeh, I just saw that today.

I wonder why they don't make it in 17's.

The enkei RPF1s are the lightest you can get for the price. 16.4lbs on a 17x9.5.

Are your local track guys running the NT03s or the RPF1s?

Those two words don't go together.
they do... with breakest

best bet is the fn01rc, theres a reason so many people are running them.

these don't fit without spacing.

True, but the RPF1s 17x8 and the 17x8.5 are a direct fit.

IMHO the fno1rcs are a good value , but are not the right choice when looking for a light wheel. I have a set of these also, along with Volk CE28s and Enkie RP02s

FNO1RC'S are real light. I like how they look and the price isn't that bad...

but I hate all their colors, except for polished lip and glossy black, but everyones got one now.

I know it sounds silly, but when you're parked next to all these cars with the same rims, it just feels like I'm conforming to something that I don't even know.

i know what you mean and it makes me wish that there were more high quality wheels. what can we name besides the 5n01rc that comes with that kinda reliability and that INSANELY LOW pricetag? you can get a whole set of these for less than 800, used... 600 EASY.

i WISH this wheel set a trend... one that made manufacturers wanna put out MORE sub 18 pound wheels and offer them for 800-900 a set. so we can all play with them on our ra1s. cuz just like how the ra1 is a cheap track tire we ALL now need a cheap track WHEEL to go with that tire. that means it's fat, it's cheap to replace and it's light.

how many wheels out there are really such a bargain?

when we discuss bargain wheels everyone brings up rotas and in a "proper" size they all weight more than 20 pounds. (proper means can shoe a 275 tire with trapezoidal patter, or at LEAST a 255 with a trapezoidal pattern).

volks are almost always over 1200 a set sometimes climbing to 1700 a set (and this is WITH HOOK UPS!)

enkeis are all at least 300 a wheel which translates into a similar 1200 a set price range.

advans, buddyclubs, ssr, work; don't even needa TALK about these, they're either TOO EXPENSIVE, TOO HEAVY, or TOO EXPENSIVE FOR HOW HEAVY THEY ARE.

i hate wheels... i hate freakin' thinkin' about wheels and i hate how there are no good wheels for cheap...

gramlights are like a compromise but i've had friends that have bent them... and they also have the funny size action going on.

even the fn01rc isn't the perfect compromise... it's a WEE bit too heavy... so sigh... waht do i do?

The only Supperleggera that fits the EVO is in a 18x9 though

I found the Rota Slipstreams in 17x8.5 for 650 shipped online yesterday, 17.5 lbs aint bad for that price!

Yea I keep saying that to but no one seems to give a **** . They rather keep talking about a rim that is 19.5 lbs (17x9) but they think they are lighter ..
